  1. Loved reading this Shannon. Thank you for sharing it as you've shared your journey all along. You are an inspiration and then some. The weight itself aside, you are a far more healthier version of you and in my mind that trumps all. I wish you all the success in the world. You've definitely worked hard for it!

  2. Shannon, I totally get the food obsession. I do the same thing. If there's food I want to try it. A plate of cookies, or a jar of them, must be eaten. It's brutal. And it's the voice in my brain that doesn't shut off. It doesn't happen for apples, or oranges though. But sweets, ugh... Thanks for being so open. Good luck with finding your answers. We're always rooting for you. XO

  4. I so totally get the Food brain thing. I also spend a lot of time thinking about food. Always have, always will. I do believe that we have to also enjoy life. May it be some wine, chocolate or mashed potatoes. You are beautiful Shannon. If you are unhappy I hope it's not because of any external pressure. Be the size you want to be while being able to enjoy life and all of its activities including eating and running. You are an inspiration and a role model. Don't ever forget that.

  6. Teagan again....Sorry - to explain a bit better, it's called Inside Out Weight Loss, and it's a pretty good way of looking at the emotional reasons behind eating (over, under, whatever!). It's not revolutionary, but has got me to ask myself some tough questions.
